CLUB RAFIKI’s Mission: To train, to inform, to frame and to equip children and youth.

CLUB RAFIKI PROFILE
Club Rafiki is a community-based organization, officially registered by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) under legal number No 07/08.11 on 18/04/2011. Its focus is on helping young people, especially those living in the Nyarugenge District, through a wide range of programs.

Health
Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education, focusing on preventing unplanned pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, and drug abuse. We use a peer educator approach and collaborate with national health campaigns and mobile testing activities.

Sports

Nurturing cultural identity through our library, reading rooms, and youth-led publications. We promote Rwandan heritage via dance and drama, while fostering patriotism and international cooperation.

Training
Providing essential vocational skills for employment, including literacy, languages, ICT, and entrepreneurship training. Our ‘English Corner’ program further boosts communication skills.

Empowering Girls
Dedicated programs to motivate girls to maximize their life opportunities through sports, education, mentorship, and confidence-building activities, fostering dignity and responsibility.
